Rosie Kirk

Rosie completed her BMed/MD at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, during which time she completed a year-long honours project studying inherited congenital heart defects in Professor Sally Dunwoodie’s laboratory. After graduating with the University Medal, Rosie worked as a junior doctor for two years before moving to Oxford with a Rhodes Scholarship to commence her DPhil under the supervision of Professor Hugh Watkins and Associate Professor Chris Toepfer. Her project involves using cellular models of cardiomyopathy to test novel gene therapies.
