Huachun Liu

Background and research interests:

Hua completed her PhD in Molecular Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She specializes in utilizing protein engineering and evolution methods to discover new tools and medicines. Her work has contributed to the fundamental understanding of RNA biology and RNA therapeutics. Currently, Hua is focused on engineering adeno-associated virus capsid proteins for more efficient and accurate gene therapy delivery.
