Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School
I graduated summa cum laude from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, received PhD in Genetics and Development under mentorship of Dr. Eric Olson at UT Southwestern Medical Center, then received MD from Stanford University. I completed internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, cardiovascular medicine fellowship and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. I gained further expertise in cardiovascular genetics research while pursuing postdoctoral research training with Drs. Kricket and Jonathan Seidman at Harvard Medical School.
As a physician-scientist, I provide clinical care to patients with heart failure. Scientifically, my research group focuses on studying genetic and molecular mechanisms of cardiomyopathy with a goal of developing therapeutic strategies for heart failure.
