I studied MSc at the Tokyo University of Science. Afterwards, I joined the pharmaceutical industry for about 10 years. At there, I had experienced on the drug discovery research with a broad range of disease area and modalities such as oligonucleotide and small molecule compounds. Whilst there, I completed Ph.D. at the Tokyo University of Agricultural Science under the supervision of Professor Kazuhiro Shigemoto, studying the pathophysiological mechanisms of sarcopenia and myasthenia gravis using disease models. Since 2024, I have joined the Wood Group as a postdoctoral researcher for the CureHeart project. My research interests are active targeting technologies such as antibody conjugated oligonucleotide focusing on delivery to muscles including heart.
