Second Annual CureHeart Symposium Held in Boston

On the 14th of November 2024 CureHeart Scientific Lead Prof Christine Seidman welcomed delegates from across the CureHeart research community along with Bryan Williams (BHF Chief Scientific and Medical Director),  James Leiper (BHF Director of Research) and Metin Avkiran (BHF Director of International Partnerships and Special Programmes) to Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston USA. Representatives from all groups and work packages delivered a programme of exciting scientific advancements, there were watched by the over 70 scientists both in person and via video link. The meeting provided all delegates the opportunity to synergise and reinvigorate their collaborative research with a single common goal of discovering new treatments and therapies for inherited cardiomyopathies.
